About Trillium

Let's create together

We are a small, dedicated company of incredibly talented people, from Project Managers and Instructional Designers to Developers and Graphic Designers. We love helping others and being creative with words, images, and learning.

We love what we do. We value inclusion. We treat our people with the respect they deserve. We give them autonomy over their work lives. They’re excited to do the work and collaborate with you on your projects.

We’re not perfect. We may make mistakes, and when we do, we own them. We will always be honest, transparent, kind, and patient with you and ourselves. We believe self-reflection, vulnerability, collaboration, and humility are strengths.

About Trillium

The journey so far

Trillium Creative Solutions was founded in October 2012 with the goal of building a company where ideas are valued, creativity is encouraged, and work-life harmony is protected. The business would be dedicated to helping organizations shape and share their stories through impactful learning solutions, navigate change, adopt new ways of working, and build cultures that embrace continuous learning. But before we could bring that vision to life, we had to answer one big question—what would we call it?

Trillium is a woodland flower native to North America. Our founders decided to name us after this rare plant (there are only about 40 known species across the continent) because of the way it reflects how people learn. A Trillium plant can live a very long time, but it can only thrive under the right conditions. It takes time to establish itself and if it is over picked, it will stop growing.

Learners are like the Trillium flower: we want to grow, we want ideas to take root, and we want to be able to continue growing and learning for decades. However, learners also require unique circumstances. We need to know we have a safe environment for learning. We can’t have too many people pulling on us at once if we are to thrive. We require down time to absorb materials to promote future growth.

In this way, it’s not just our company that is Trillium, but every person who has connected with our company receives the same treatment, and is encouraged to bloom in their own space, time, and manner, just like this rare plant. As of result of their vision, Trillium Creative Solutions has become a place where innovative learning experiences have been created. We believe in investing in our clients’ success and our employees’ development.
